Francisco is earning his MA in International Journalism at City, University of London. At City, he is focused on telling stories with data and pictures in the areas of social activism and human migration. Prior to reporting for the UK Press Gazette and The Daily Graphic, the widest read broadsheet in the Republic of Ghana, Francisco’s ten-year career included market intelligence consulting for Fortune 500 healthcare companies. He has also worked as an investor relations consultant and speechwriter for business leaders in the U.S. and Hong Kong, and designed a community-based intervention to abate arthritis and obesity related health care disparities for African American women in South Chicago. He has been quite busy this year working on producing Finding Rio, a new documentary slated for release in 2017. He once auditioned to play Harry Potter for a YouTube promotion; they gave the part to somebody else.
